We want YOU to Join the LPS Academy!
Do you have what it takes? Our competitive program of study is the premier academy within the Essex County Vocational Technical School District in Essex County, New Jersey. Housed in our North 13th St Campus in Newark, New Jersey, ALL of our students are expected to go on to a Bachelor's Program after they graduate from our program. We boast a 100% admission rate to a four year college from our students, most with scholarships and financial aid.
All of our students are given the opportunity to earn up to and over 21 college credits BEFORE they graduate from high school... FOR FREE!!! These credits can be transferred to most colleges of their choice or banked at Essex County College in Newark, New Jersey. On top of all of these opportunities, our students participate in the Essex County Police Academy Experience Day every year, field trips to the Fire Department, Ballistics Unit, Forensics related organizations and activities, as well as attend a day at the County and Federal Court House to meet with attorneys, Court representatives and Judges.
Come and look around our blog to see the wonderful things our students are learning and doing at the high school level! We are proud of our students and staff members' accomplishments!
